This is why it would be a good idea for you incorporate blogging into your overall internet marketing plan. What blogging can do very effectively is to build your target markets and bring you a steady flow of internet traffic and customers.

Everybody has a blog. No matter the topic or conversation someone has got it covered. From online diaries in the mid nineties to becoming one of the foundations of the internet, blogging along with video and social bookmarking is changing not only how we get our information but also the manner in which online business is conducted.

Blogs are free and easy to run. Just go to Blogger or Wordpress.com, signup and start posting. Try to start out posting on a daily basis or at least a three to four times a week then use these tips to get traffic to your blog

Free RSS Feed

Rich Site Summary also known as Really Simple Syndication is the process of delivering constantly updated content to your blog by pacing a block of code (known as a feed) on your webpages. In our fast paced information age, RSS fits absolutely. It allows your visitors to stay up to date on any new information you’ve added to your blog without necessarily having to visit every page on your blog. Instead they view a window that list the headlines followed by a quick summary of what each article is about.

Having a free RSS feed accomplishes two things besides getting more site traffic. First since the content is updated frequently it keeps the search engines coming back to your site and crawling for the new information. Second it can increase your visibility among your blog visitors. This is important because while they may not visit your blog everyday, providing a feed to your subscribers is a good way to for them to stay in touch.

Network

A blog network is a compilation of blogs under a sole domain or company name. Some web visitors take comfort in clicking a link that takes them to different bloggers who cover the same topic. This is also an excellent way to get free advertisement and free web traffic to your site since people who visit the network will invariably be exposed to your blog.

Email Marketing List

In a recent survey, 100% of online users say they communicate using email. This is a good way to send messages to your opt in email list with links going back to your blog web site. Let them know you’ve posted a new article or video on your blog. Use snippets or summaries to entice people to click on the link and get further information. The more times people on your list see your blog the more they will get to know you and give a second look to some products or services you maybe offering.

In addition you can gain more viewers to your blog by giving away a subscription along with free report. Advertise in ezine publications that target your niche as well as forums and classified ad sites like US Free Ads.

You can also submit to blog directories or just ask your readers to give you feedback on something you posted (the search engines view comments as updating content on your blog). No matter which technique you choose, blogging offers a new way to connect with your readers. Simple, unfiltered and a perfect fit for today’s internet blogging is a smart resource to have in your internet marketing online tool kit.

Hi Everyone,

What if I were to show you how to make money using affiliate marketing, and tell you what steps to take, without charging you for the information? Would you listen? What if I summed everything up and gave you direction, so you would be equipped with the knowledge needed to make a legitimate income, even if you don’t have OR want a website? How about in addition, I break down advertising strategies, and tell you how to make the best of internet traffic, so you don’t go OUT of business once you start? Does any of this sound good? Well, I am about to tell you FOR FREE how to get a brand new marketing business off the ground. Even if you are a slow learner and have VERY limited time, I can assure you that this information can allow you to retire from your nine to five lifestyle within your first year of business. All you need to do is learn and apply it.

So let’s start from the beginning. In order to make money online you need three things: The mindset to succeed and not quit. The skills to put knowledge into action. And last, a good product or service to promote, so you are not selling junk and building a bad reputation for yourself.

Well, to have the mindset to succeed, you simply need the passion to do whatever it takes, and it appears that you already have that or you wouldn’t be here right now. So, great.

The skill comes with practice. Once you start DOING it, it starts to make sense. Slowly but surely you can put together a network of affiliate links all across the internet to build yourself a flow of immediate as well as residual income.

Finding a good product or service to promote is actually pretty simple. You have seen hundreds of scams yourself, I’m sure. Use your instincts. Your gut will tell you what and who is legitimate.

So, let’s get started. Let’s say your long term goal is to build a website that rivals the big corporations, but there is too much work involved if you are new to marketing. Many people buy a template, fill in the blanks, and call it good. After spending a few hundred dollars in pay per click ads, they quit because they haven’t made ANY money. I know, some people have to learn the hard way. You can tell if a site was put together too fast, or if the person has no idea what they are doing. Even if you have a couple affiliate links on your site that would make you money, the sales won’t come in because your site looks cheap. Bottom line.

Here is the good news. Technically, you don’t need a website to make money. If you go to Clickbank.com you can register for free as an affiliate. Go through their list of programs and choose an ebook or membership program to promote. Click where it says to create an affiliate link. When it comes up, it should look something like yournickname.thecompanyyoulike.hop.clickbank.net/. Now, you can buy ads and put your link in them to send visitors to the site you are promoting. When someone clicks on this it will send them directly to the company website. When a sale is made on the site, your affiliate link is tracked back to Clickbank and they will send you a check for a percentage of the sale. Clickbank sends out checks to all their affiliates every two weeks. They are the biggest “affiliate network” online and act as a middleman to make all financial transactions safe and secure. So if you do that, you will make money without a website, MAYBE. For one, pay per click can be very dangerous to a beginner (I will explain more) and for two, your commissions will only be $20. You know, give or take a little.

There is another problem too. When doing PPC, people want to click YourName.com, not some long ridiculous link. They don’t want another affiliate to make money. So what do you do. You buy a domain name, redirect the url to your affiliate link, and BAM. You have YourName.com. You can do this using GoDaddy.com and they have video tutorials if you can’t figure it out.

So, assuming you have a product to promote, how should you advertise? As far as pay per click ads, I would stick with the popular search engines, and bid cheap. The best way is to actually have different ads in different search engines. Use very specific ad content too, so you have targeted traffic (and you get charged less.) There is nothing worse than having people click your ads that are not really interested in what you are offering. This will result in loss of funds and very few sales. Don’t get into bidding wars either, where you are fighting for the top spot in a certain search result. Everyone clicks on the number one spot out of curiosity. Most clicks don’t covert into sales. It is actually better to be number 5, 6, or 7, than 1 or 2. Even if you are 6 pages down because your bid is so low, eventually someone will see your ad. The best part about this is, the person who clicked your ad is TRULY interested in what you are offering, and this will most likely result in a sale. You could make $30 off a $.05 ad. If you were to repeat that over and over, you would become wealthy your first year.

Now I have to clarify that I am speaking of PPC above. If you have high organic ranking that you didn’t pay for, then by all means, get as close to the top as you can. But if you are a beginner, you don’t have to worry about having organic ranking any time soon.

Ad costs keep going up.  You won’t even be able to get listed for a $0.05 bid nowadays.  They will make you pay WAY more than that or your ad won’t even show.  What a pain, right?  Yes… but the story isn’t over yet.

If you don’t have the money to do paid advertising, no big deal. I have advertised in every avenue know to man. You know what? This is my favorite. Writing articles that give me free permanent links to my website. It takes a while to build traffic this way, but it is VERY effective once you have put in your time. There is plenty of free information available. Anything you don’t understand, just Google it, and read what comes up.

Submit your articles manually, or at least do due research. Automatic submission may not always work the way they claim it does. You pay for it. It gets blocked as spam. They keep your money, and you get nothing. They are not all like that, but just be careful what you pay for.  I have even used “article submitting software” and it’s not that great.  It doesn’t even work on half of the websites so it’s more of a pain than a help.  Plus, directories hate auto submission.  Just do it manually and everyone is happy.

I have read ebooks from numerous membership companies that offer affiliate websites. I actually bought the memberships and read the information. I have gained vast knowledge through most of them, though some were junk. I’m sure you know that you can get a free affiliate website with the purchase of an ebook or whatever from many gurus. They give you a “review” site. The kind that say, “I have reviewed 617.5 websites (like that is even possible) and here are the top 3 ways to make $713.18 a day online.  Give me a break.  Just because you quote some “exact” number doesn’t make it REAL.  The people that get these sites for free and promote them have no idea what they are even promoting, they just want a commission from Clickbank for the sale. Plus they never even reviewed 600 sites in the first place. It is a complete lie.

KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SELLING.

I have much more to share, but I know your time is limited.  I could build you an ORIGINAL website that is keyword targeted, and search engine optimized.  Plus there are a few more traffic tips and things like that on the website too.

To Your Success,

Everyone wants to have a successful Internet website. In order to be successful you need visitors and in order to have visitors you need traffic. So how do you go about drive traffic? Type “How to increase Internet Traffic” into Google and you will get thousands of results. But we have made a little list of some ways you may not have thought of. Here are five unlikely ways to get more traffic to your website. Sure – there are many, many more. These are just a few to get you going.

Write 5-10 articles and submit them to popular article directories like EzineArticles.com, ArticlesBase.com and Buzzle.com. 5-10 articles won’t get you a lot of traffic, but you might find that article writing and marketing is not as hard as you thought. These articles can vary in size and scope. They should feature subjects related to your business or website.

You don’t need a recording studio to make a video that gets thousands of views. You can use a phone these days. Take a look at some of the videos on YouTube that are getting a lot of traffic. Make a video yourself. Try to be creative, catchy and make it cut through the clutter. You will be surprised how many people watch it.

Simply add a link for your website to the end of every email you send. It only takes 5 minutes to add a link to your email, and even if it just gets you one visitor, it was worth it.

Write some ads and place them on Craigslist and on other classified ad websites. You will get traffic from these ads for months and you will also build your backlinks along the way. And the best thing is – they are free.

This is one of the best ways to advertise your website. Just write a small ebook that people can download and send to others for free. Make sure that you specify on the first page that your readers have complete and free give-away rights and that they can send the ebook to anyone at anytime. This is a surefire way to get more traffic to your website. There are a lot of ways to get more internet traffic for your website – these are five you may not have thought of.

When I got into internet marketing I quickly realized that getting traffic isn’t always easy. It can take months before you start getting organic search traffic and there is no guarantee you will get much traffic from organic search. There is a huge sea of internet content out there that you have to compete with.

The quickest way to get internet traffic is with a pay per click service such as Google’s AdWords. With just $5 and a couple of ads you can get access to over 100 million people in less than 10 minutes. No more waiting for traffic, you will see results instantly.

But for most people they find out this is not as easy as it sounds. After a day or 2 your ads get rejected, your keywords get disabled and you start paying a fortune for your clicks. Google AdWords can be extremely expensive if you don’t know how to beat the system.

This was the case for me, I spent a fortune with very little results. Then I found Perry Marshall. Perry taught me the methods he uses to beat the system. After implemented Perry’s methods I instantly started getting more clicks at a fraction of the cost.

I now use AdWords to almost instantly get traffic. I can make changes and fine tune my marketing and quickly know if something is working or not. Without Perry Marshall’s tactics I would be going broke with AdWords instead of making a profit.

I have posted an audio recording of Perry Marshall on my website. You can listen to it free and see how you can use Adwords at a fraction of the cost to instantly drive traffic to your website.

Get a flood of instant traffic to your website.
